Perth Highland farewells Nick.
Nick "Shambles" Lind is leaving to live in the USA for a while.
He will be sorely missed by the band, not only for his musicianship, dedication to the committee, and outstanding attendance record, but for his fun-loving nature and mateship.
Once in the United States, he plans to join the Rhode Island Highlanders and and teach them some of our bad habits.
The band presented Shambles with an engraved skeandhu with a green gem stone to remind him of Perth Highland colours, whatever kilt he may wear.
The skeandhu has the inscription "Bon Voyage Shambles - PHPB". Many Perth Highlanders were at the farwell to send Nick and his wife, Michelle, to the States with good cheer.
