Ali MacKerron is the new Pipe Major of Perth Highland!
Our annual Playing Officers Election on 22 Aprill 2024, has delivered a fresh new leadership team for the band. Ali takes over as our new Pipe Major, with David Johnston returning as Drum Sergeant for the 28th time! Gary Mackintosh is our new Drum Major. Callum Griffiths steps into the role of Pipe Sergeant, with David Stulpner Music and Charles Barblett joining him in the front rank as Pipe Corporals. Sue McNaughtan leads the mid section as Drum Corporal and Thomson Unsworth returns as Drum Corporal in the snare line.
Ali MacKerron thanked the outgoing Pipe Major, Stuart Robertson, for his years of service to the band. Stuart resigned in March 2024 to focus on his performance and recording career with his folk band, The Spirit Of Alba.
